The Challenge

A customer in the athletic industry requested colored PVC coated aircraft cable and sleeves so they could assemble jump ropes. The cable and sleeves needed to be color-matched to the customer’s specifications and had a short turnaround time, approximately one week after receipt of re-order.

The Solution

We supplied cut-to-length aircraft wire rope with a thin-wall cyan blue PVC coating, along with the sleeves used to assemble the jump ropes, according to the customer’s specifications.

In-process and final inspections were also performed to ensure that the wire rope coating met all the noted requirements. The coated cable was produced with a lead time of one week upon receipt of the customer’s re-order.

The Results

The client was very satisfied with the cyan blue jump rope. Their goal was to make the jump rope to reflect different college colors, so the blue Lexco provided was a perfect match.
