YMCA COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Challenge
For this project, the customer chose to use a series of different colored wire rope to create a fence around their YMCA community garden. While using steel cable for boundary fencing is nothing new, the customer wanted to use the fencing to create visual interest around the garden.
The Solution
To achieve this, various colors of PVC coating, including neon lime, translucent blue, red, green, opaque yellow, and orange, were applied to the desired size of steel aircraft cable. The customers attached the cables to a metal frame, creating a vertical fence. The fence is modular and is designed to segregate the community garden area from the YMCA demonstration gardens.
The Results
We always take pride in seeing the new functional and aesthetic applications customers find for our products and are happy to create unique designs and meet tight schedules. The PVC coated cables for this project were completed within the specified lead time of one week. For additional details about this PVC coated steel wire rope project, contact us directly.
