Lexco® Cable offers bungee cord assemblies in a number of different styles. Bungee cord assemblies are built in-house, using
1/8” through 5/8” diameter bungee cord to customer specification.
Lexco® Cable offers bungee cord assemblies in a number of different styles. Bungee cord assemblies are built in-house, using 1/8” through 5/8” diameter bungee cord to customer specification. We use both domestic and imported bungee cord materials, and can provide assemblies with polypropylene, nylon, or polyester outer thread. Common bungee cord assembly styles include:
- Hook Ends installed with aluminum button stops or wire crimps (hog rings)
- Loop Ends installed via cord knots, hog ring crimps, or fiber rope sleeve crimps
- Endless Rings with swaged aluminum sleeves to create a complete loop of bungee cord
- Ball Tips allow bungee cords to fully rotate without falling through when fed through holes or grommets
- Tarp Bungees with bungee balls at one end (creating a loop); feeds through tarp holes to secure tarpaulins
- Barb Tip Assemblies to secure bungee cords through holes, preventing pull-back under tension
- Single Wire Crimps can be used to create netting to secure cargo by cross crimping
- Free-Floating Eye Bolts allow cord to be secured to a fixture to avoid loss

Note: Bungee cord is not load-rated and is not designed for critical load applications. Safe stretch length is typically 100% of relaxed length.
